After "how much?" this is by far the most popular question I get asked.
But, did you know there is a difference between when you send out your stationery and when you need to order your stationery with your stationery supplier!
So to answer the actual question first...
Firstly is your wedding abroad, during a school holiday break or during term time? It is important to think of your guests circumstances, do most have children? If so will they be booking holidays during the half term or summer holidays? The more notice you can give them the better the chance the ones you love can celebrate your special day with you.
Below is a chart for you to screenshot as a reminder of when to send out your invitations.

So now you have an idea of when to send out your invitations...when do you need to ORDER your invitations with your chosen wedding supplier?
Every supplier works on different lead times so your first task is to discuss with your chosen stationer their lead time and how their booking system works. Even those on Etsy and other platforms have lead times so best to check first before getting your heart set on a design and realising they aren't available.
Here at Rella Event Stationery we have booked production slots and an open diary whilst there is availability.
What does this mean?
Open diary - if there is availability out of peak seasons then an order can be placed with immediate start (commences once you have paid and signed off your digital proof) and your order will take 3 weeks to make. It is important to remember that during peak times (June, July and September - December) there may not be availability for immediate starts and I am often turning last minute couples away during these times.
Booked production slots - a booked production slot can be booked up to 2 years in advanced and secures you a set slot for your stationery to be made. This gives you peace of mind knowing I will be available to create your beautiful stationery. I highly recommend booking a slot for any on the day stationery as this is time critical and you may want it to match your invitations, you don’t want to be disappointed if I am fully booked.
Based on the above info below is a guide to when you need to ORDER your stationery with Rella Event Stationery...

With all of the above information to hand it is time to start looking around your favourite stationery suppliers and reaching out to those you love for their lead times and availability.
